About

Our lives are perfectly designed to lead us to ordinary holiness if we let the Lord lead us. However, most of us wrestle with the Lord, like Jacob (the deceiver) did, thinking we know best for our lives. After Jacob struggled with God, he as renamed Israel (one who struggles with God).

Blessed with original grace, we keep giving it away carelessly by choosing our own paths. We cannot hear the whispers of the Spirit over the din of our own desires and sorrows. We are created in the image and likeness of God, yet we can scarce imagine that to be true. We continuously try to fill the emptiness with a thousand things, when only God will do.

GracePilgrimage will be about the everyday struggles, insights, and graced moments of an ordinary Catholic woman’s life… one who struggles with prayer, weight, perfection, and procrastination, among other things.
